Katie Malco

A little while ago I went to a small churchy studio with a fella called Iain Archer from bands such as Snow Patrol and Tired Pony. (Did you know Zooey Deschanel/members of REM/M Ward was in Tired Pony? Famous.)

That’s him on the right next to Gary Lightbody who was also in Tired Pony.

Iain writes songs in these bands, and he has his own solo project under his own name, which is great.

He is also a producer, and he produced some songs with me.

I drafted in my good friends Dave Catmur from Tubelord and Sophie Galpin from My First Tooth to play drums/violin and sing.

That’s them there.

Then on my birthday my granny gave me a photo album full to the brim of excellent old photos of me and my family. “This should be my EP artwork!” I cried.

That’s my Granny.

Then I made it all in to an E.P with the help of Jack Alcopop, Rich and Mease, Tom Langrish, AC/DSleeve and The Graphic Bomb.

And I called it KATIE MALCO & THE SLOW PARADE.

Today that E.P can be bought in shops and online. Banquet Records, The Alcopop shop, iTunes, Amazon etc etc etc.
In fact, you can buy it on this very website, by clicking on the thing that says “PAGES” at the top, and clicking on the icon of the artwork.

I will also sell it at gigs, more specifically on the tour I am about to embark upon with My First Tooth’s very own Ross Witt.
This will be:
Nov 30th,
Dec 1st,
2nd,
3rd,
4th.
